Trail Verbier Saint-Bernard

The technical trailers dream. Big vert and sweeping alpine panoramas.  If you want the ultimate Swiss Trail challenge with tried and true routes, this one is for you. Whether you choose the 140k, 76k, 45k, 26k all offer impressive levels of elevation gain, using the famous resort village of Verbier as the finish line for all events.

X-Alpine – 140km, 9300m D+
The longest race, takes you on an enormous loop through some of the most beautiful mountain terrain and villages in the Valais region: Champex, La Fouly and Bourg St. Pierre, as well as the historic monastery at St-Bernard Pass.

X-Traversée – 76km, 5300m D+
Starting at La Fouly, you will head towards the sublime Lacs de Fenêtre, cruising towards 3 mountain passes and admiring a view of the Grand Combin (4314m). You will cross the legendary Corbassière suspension bridge (190m long) before taking on the 1200m “wall”, the final challenge of this magnificent route.
