The biggest running events in Thailand
Well-known running events in Thailand are held in the capital Bangkok, but also on the beautiful island of "Ko Phuket".
In Phuket, the Phuket Marathon is held in June. With fringe events, the event comes to over 7,000 finishers. In Bangkok you can participate in the biggest running event of the country. The Bangkok Marathon is held there in November. The race has been in the schedule of many runners since 1987. The classic 42.195 kilometers through the megacity are contested by more than 3,000 athletes. With the other running events, the event has more than 30,000 registered athletes.
With the Bangkok Midnight Marathon there is another well-known marathon event in Bangkok, whose start to the race takes place after midnight. The most famous half marathon race is the Bangsaen21 Half Marathon in Chonburi.
