An overview of "Women's Only Races" in Germany.
The dates for all Women Runs in Germany, including registration, results and other details.
Around 50 women's races are held in Germany every year. Only women and girls are allowed to start in women's races. Women's runs have been held for several decades, after ladies were largely barred from participating in running events as recently as the middle of the last century.
The boom in running events just for women has increased more and more in recent years. In the meantime, there are also entire series that hold women's runs throughout Germany.
What women's races are there in Germany?
One of the largest women's runs in Europe is the Frauenlauf Berlin, organized by the organizers of the Berlin Marathon. There are also well-known events in Fürth, Dresden and Hanover. Recently new in Germany is the "Muddy Angel Run" series. These are 5 km mud runs.
Most of these events offer rather short competition distances of 5 km to 10 km. Nordic walking competitions are also held on a regular basis.
