Which runs are there in Germany?
There are about 5,000 running events per year. Keeping track of them is not easy. The most famous running event in Germany is undoubtedly the Berlin Marathon, which in recent years has established itself as the fastest marathon in the world. It is the ideal city marathon if you are also looking to set a new personal best time. In addition to the marathon in Berlin, there are several other major city marathons in the Federal Republic. Behind Berlin, the Hamburg Marathon (spring) and the Frankfurt Marathon (fall) have established themselves.
Company runs are particularly popular in Germany. In the meantime, there have been entire series spread across the country for several years. Probably the best-known company run series at the moment is "B2Run". The largest company run and also the largest running event in Germany is the Frankfurt company run (J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge), in which over 50,000 runners take part.
