April is not only the month of many marathons, but also of many half marathon events.
But there are also many reasons why so many athletes complete a half marathon this month. For example, there are those who have planned a marathon in May and use April for a half marathon test run. The perfect conditions are also a reason to run a half marathon. Because in April the chances are extraordinarily good that it is neither too cold, nor too warm.
Madrid or Hawaii?
If you are planning a trip to Spain in spring, you should combine it with the Madrid Half Marathon. It is usually held at the beginning of April. The event attracts around 15,000 participants. In the USA, the Hawaii’s Half Marathon is a real crowd puller.
The Nashville Marathon and Maui Marathon also feature a half marathon.
